Andrea and Xavier are the kind of adventurous couple that every photographer dreams of. They first reached out to us for a short after-wedding photoshoot in Santorini, but after some research, we collectively decided to take things a step further and have two day photoshoot in Milos.
We started our adventure by hopping on our private boat (at the time!) and making our way to Milos, where we met Andrea and Xavier for the very first time. The session began with some photos on the boat as we explored Poliegos and its crystal-clear waters.
From there, we headed to Plaka to take more photos, wrapping up the day with a sunset session. While Santorini’s stairs are no stranger to us, Plaka brought its own set of challenges, but the views were more than worth it!
Day 2: Sunrise Photoshoot at Sarakiniko:
The next morning, we kicked off our Milos photoshoot at Sarakiniko, meeting Andrea and Xavier 30 minutes before sunrise. The pre-dawn light was soft and dreamy, and the complete stillness—no wind, no distractions—made it feel like we had the entire place to ourselves.
If you’re considering a Milos photoshoot, especially in Sarakiniko, we can’t recommend an early wake-up call enough.
Like everything in life, the greater the effort, the more remarkable the final result tends to be.
As the sun rose, the soft light reflected off Sarakiniko’s white rocks, creating a beautiful, natural glow that complemented skin tones perfectly. The ambience was so good that we ended up not using flash at all!
While we wrapped up the session, I tried to convince Andrea to jump into the water with her wedding dress for one last shot, but it wasn’t my lucky day.
Why We Fell in Love with Milos?
Milos left such a lasting impression on us that it inspired something entirely new: we bought a 12-meter (40-foot) speedboat! Now, we can visit Milos safely and frequently, and we’ve even launched a yachting company to share this incredible experience with our couples.
