Ashlee and Steven – Wedding proposal photoshoot 20 years later

Ashlee and Steven had been together forever - two kids, one home, but never a wedding. Steven always prioritized experiences over traditions, and their first visit to Santorini was no exception. Wanting to preserve the memory, they booked a two - hour couple’s session with us at Skaros Rock.

It wasn’t the sunniest day Santorini had seen, but I personally love the soft, diffused light of moody weather. We kicked off at Anastasi Church and the blue domes - luckily, we didn’t have to wait in line for 30 minutes! (One more reason to visit Santorini in October)

Next stop: the always busy stairway of Chromata Hotel, which again was empty! We snuck onto their beautiful dome where I took some portraits of Ashlee (before they kicked us out).

Then, we moved to Andromeda’s terrace, where I took advantage of the vast space for some wide shots of them standing side by side. The weather for worse but Ashlee and Steven were full of energy and didn’t mind at all.

We hiked down to Skaros to seal the session. And then out of nowhere, Steven popped the question! He never told me he would! (Seriously, don’t do that.) But somehow, he picked the perfect moment, catching even me by surprise.

As we wrapped up and headed back to the car, the sky turned gold. Needless to say, I threw my bag to the ground, grabbed my camera, and shot for another 15 minutes.

The taxi driver could wait.
