6am. No wind, high humidity, and a layer of clouds that turned the sky into a giant softbox. I can really work with this light.

Dan and Amy are from the UK. They aren't the type to stand in line for 30 minutes for a cliché shot. For the love of the game, we skipped the tourist traps and headed straight for the edges of Oia.

After some climbing and navigating the back alleys, the sun rose behind a thick cloud and the whole sky turned golden. That’s why you hire someone who’s done this thousands of times. We know when to visit each spot, how to avoid the crowds, and how to read the light before it even happens.

We were moving fast when it happened. Dan proposed out of the blue. No brief, no heads-up, I had no idea. (Thanks Dan..)

The clouds did their job. I just made sure they left Greece with memories that actually stand the test of time.
