Sebastian & Madison – Proposal in Sarakiniko beach, Milos.

I know I might sound like a broken record, but this simple quote has changed my worldview, made me travel again, and made me more thankful for what I’ve accomplished: “Create the conditions under which great moments can arise.”

This simple sentence pushed me to stop being a lazy ass, spending my best years in the same place, doing the same things over and over again. I know we all function in routines, but it’s really worth seeing the world. Traveling has become so easy and affordable, and it would be such a pity not to experience Sarakiniko in Milos - a wonder of the world created by nature’s wrath. The volcanic island, especially Sarakiniko, is one of the best places in the world to pop the question.

I fell in love with Milos so much that I ended up spending 500k to buy a 40-foot speedboat to get there in no time - creating the conditions for beautiful moments to unfold. For now, Milos is my sanctuary, and I hope it will be the place I spend the last years of my life.

If traveling to the Greek islands is on your list, do yourself a favor and visit Milos. As someone who’s lived in Santorini since 2018, I can tell you: Milos stole my heart, and it will steal yours too.
