SANTORINI HOTEL PHOTOGRAPHY

Apikia is a five-star boutique hotel located in Pyrgos village, at the heart of Santorini island.

It's a visitor's dream and a photographer's challenge simultaneously.

Allow me to explain:

Hotel photography abides by strict composition rules that we rarely break. Just as an architect considers both aesthetics and functionality, architectural photographers adhere to these rules to make our images stand out and sell.

Hotel photography serves a straightforward, though not always easy, purpose: accurately and aesthetically depicting spaces in line with the hotel’s branding and atmosphere.

Apikia boasts a strict yet abstract design, making its interiors quite challenging to shoot. The absence of parallel walls, the five-sided rooms, along with the color and texture of the furniture, were some of the hurdles we tackled to bring this project to life.

Capturing visuals for Apikia’s 12 suites required 12 extensive days of work, while filming the video took an additional 2 days for shooting and about 5 days for editing.
