HOTEL PHOTOGRAPHER IN CRETE

Marriott is all about quality.

Located in Crete, Greece's larger island, Domes of Elounda presents rich, earthy tones, offering a sense of home. Being of the most beautifully designed hotel’s in Greece, it’s an architectural photographer’s dream and nightmare at the same time.

For us it was one of the most difficult projects ever as it required a highly technical approach to be photographed properly; incorporating advanced light painting techniques on pretty much every shot while ensuring artificial lighting didn’t detract from the natural feel.

Our goal was an accurate portrayal of dimensions and textures, avoiding a result that felt overproduced and unnatural.

Spending two days scouting and three days shooting, we adapted to the hotel's pace and allowed creativity to flow.

It took us a few hours to understand the thought process of the architect, who designed those narrow corridors before entering each room that gave the illusion of spaciousness upon entry.

The best part? We didn't need to iron the bedsheets or handle any cleaning tasks. The hotel provided a dedicated team to assist us, enabling us to concentrate solely on our photography work!
