Andrea & Xavier – Wedding in Milos, Sarakiniko beach

This is a one-minute cinematic cut from Andrea and Xavier’s Milos wedding film. Short but dense, it gives you a glimpse of what it’s like to be at Sarakiniko Beach at sunrise: silence, soft light, and white volcanic hills that make you feel as if you’re walking on the moon.

Waking up that early to reach Sarakiniko is proof that effort pays off. Luck was on our side that day - a windless morning and an empty beach gave us the chance to capture the opening drone shot you see in the film along with other wide, handheld shots.

The fancy equipment stayed in the bag. No gimbals, sliders or rigs were needed. When the conditions are that good, all it takes is two hands and a cooperative couple willing to follow your directions.

We shot everything within 30 minutes, trying to keep the light conditions consistent.
