Chrysa and Panos – A wedding in Paros

Chrysa and Panos are the kind of couple wedding photographers in Greece dream about! They reached out directly, inviting us to capture their wedding in Paros Island.

We met in Athens six months before their big day, and from the first moment I could tell that we these two are all about quality.

After a few minutes, the magic phrase came out of Chrysa’s mouth: “We love your work, feel free to do whatever you want with our pictures” - every time I hear this, I get excited!

I know I may sound like a broken record, but the “do whatever you want” type of couples have a special place in my heart.

Fast forward to their wedding day – after a somewhat shaky ferry trip, we arrived on Paros Island. Because of the strong winds, using off-camera flash was pretty much impossible. After taking a few shots in Chrysa’s preparation, out of nowhere, a big gust came and tore down our softbox.

This is a great example of why you should consider hiring a local team.

As Greek photographers, we're used to handling unexpected challenges all the time.

Harsh lighting, late arrivals, delayed events, or even dealing with a broken 120cm umbrella against a 40 knot gale is part of our daily routine. We're committed to delivering the best moments for our couples, come what may.

Fast forward to the wedding reception, we adopted a paparazzi-style approach, aiming to be as discreet as possible. (though we don't always manage that).

We used flash to capture those funky dancing shots, striving to convey the day's energy as vividly as possible.
