David and Lina – After wedding photoshoot in Oia

In September 2022 I had the opportunity to document David and Lina’s intimate elopement in Santorini.

Despite having only two hours to work with them, I aimed to be as efficient as possible and captured some essential shots in the first few minutes of the photoshoot.

Their first look took place next to a tiny yet iconic dome in Oia, and we spent about an hour taking pictures around the village before heading to Canaves for the actual ceremony.

David and Lina had a vision for their photos to be both properly staged and natural-looking. Initially, I thought these two concepts couldn't coexist in a single image, but I now know they can.

To achieve their desired aesthetic, I opted for a high-contrast look that accentuated their features and highlighted their natural beauty.
