George and Aline thought I was joking when I told them that we had to wake up at the crack of dawn for their after-wedding photoshoot! After a few minutes I managed to convince them that waking up at 4:00 am to get ready, taking a taxi by 5:00 am, and meeting me at 5:30 am will worth the effort.
In this massively underrated beach I can only take pictures 10 minutes before and 30 minutes after sunrise. After that time, the light changes from gold to a not so pleasing yellow.
I believe that it’s better to shoot at the right spot, at the right time rather than spending time and energy to re-create the light artificially.
There’s a term for good light: Oh-la-la light!
