Jason and Jodie – A wedding in Pyrgos restaurant

This lovely couple from UK got married in May 2022 at Santo Wines and had their reception at Pyrgos restaurant. Right after their ceremony I had the opportunity to take them to Pyrgos village to complete the visual narrative of their special day.

Pyrgos village is one of my favourite places to shoot due to its charming architecture and narrow streets, which provide the perfect terrain for someone with a love for lines and spontaneity.

Given the limited time we had, my assistant and I had to work fast and efficiently. We staged most of the shots and used flash to compensate for the natural light that would have otherwise blown out the sky in every picture.

Jason wasn’t the type of guy who would effortlessly pose in front of your lens, but with a bit of encouragement he allowed us to capture some really beautiful images.

Oh, I forgot to mention that their private photoshoot took place at 3pm with temperatures reaching 35 degrees Celsious / 95 Fahrenheit.

Enjoy their gallery.

If you're interested in being photographed in Pyrgos, take a look at Luca and Malia’s photo session for inspiration.
