Jezelle & Saliba

Jezelle knew what she wanted from the very beginning. She had a clear vision for her wedding photos - showing me samples from our own website and was specific about the style and mood she was after.

When you have such a beautiful bride (and soul), the technical stuff takes a back seat. Sure, we used artificial lights, battled Santorini’s strong winds, and did what we had to do (as always). But it was the energy and connection I had with Jezelle that made those bridal shots truly stand out.

As I enjoy saying over and over again, you can’t force inspiration but you can create the conditions under which inspiration can arise.

The couple didn’t want to keep their guests waiting, so we headed to a little chapel just 10 minutes from El Viento. With only 45 minutes (including travel time) for their Santorini wedding photos, we had to make every moment count.

As the sunset came quickly, we worked hard to capture the best wedding photos possible in the limited time we had.

The final gallery has a polished and elegant feel, with plenty of direction throughout the day, even during the group shots. But once the party started, it was PURE CHAOS and Arabic vibes! We used long exposure to highlight the movement of the dance and direct flash for a photojournalistic touch.
