Valerie and Kingsley

Wedding Santorini

While this wasn’t a themed or cultural wedding, Valerie and Kingsley planned one of the most thoughtful and unique events we’ve ever worked on. Their color palette stood out with vibrant fall orange, ginger tones and ivory flowers. The bridal party nailed the look with popping orange tuxedos for the groomsmen and bronze dresses for the bridesmaids.

We started the day with the couple’s preparations, dedicating one and a half hours to each of them to ensure every detail was beautifully captured.

Next came a private vow exchange at a lookout point, a back-to-back moment where they could share their words without seeing each other.

They had a long wedding day and booked our entire team for 10 hours. Thanos worked his magic filming their day alone, Dimitris was the leading wedding photographer and I focused on architectural shots, capturing the setup, reception tables, family portraits, and bridal photos by the wedding table at sunset.

After their ceremony at Cavo Ventus, Dimitris and Thanos joined the couple for a private session in Megalochori. (Read more about wedding photos in Megalochori village at the end of this post.)

We wrapped things up with a high-energy party that lasted until midnight.

Taking your wedding pictures in Megalochori during peak season can be tricky. The village gets crowded, and the best spots are often taken. That’s why we prefer and often recommend Pyrgos village instead. It’s a beautiful, quieter alternative close to Cavo Ventus with signature Santorini architecture and a blue dome! Check out the first half of this gallery for photos from Pyrgos.
