Stella Rocca a Mare, nestled in Imerovigli village at the heart of Santorini, stands as a five-star boutique hotel.
Known for its strong brand identity, Stella Hotels, a prominent hotel company based in Crete, expanded its presence to Santorini.
Before embarking on this project, we collaborated closely with Viky, their brand manager, whose invaluable assistance during the photoshoot provided us with crucial guidelines on styling and props.
It's crucial to comprehend that hotel photography involves authentically capturing spaces in sync with the hotel’s identity and atmosphere, which is quite distinct from architectural photography.
We prioritize honoring and enhancing the unique visual identity of hotels instead of solely relying on our creative vision. Therefore, it's essential to have a meeting with the marketing team before the photoshoot to ensure our creative approach aligns seamlessly with the hotel's branding.
Stella Hotels favor desaturated colors and muted, earthy tones, and they provided us with a mood board featuring a specific color palette that we ended up using in all the pictures.
