Emily and Landon

Emily and Landon booked a 6 AM session in Oia. At that hour you sometimes get the blue domes to yourself. It was one of those days. We were lucky enough to work with the kind of soft, directional light that only September and October can offer.

The Session

I focused on the things that matter. Relaxed postures, noise-free environmental portraiture and being at the right spots at the right time. I let the light and shadow work for me. We moved through Oia before the crowds arrived, hitting the angles that provide a clean, high-end look without the visual clutter.

The Approach

I don’t do the "stand here and look at each other" type of direction. I use invisible direction to create that effortlessness in most of the frames. My goal is always to avoid the awkward tourist clichés and create a high-end aesthetic that feels like a spontaneous moment from a film. Will I reach my goal in every frame? No. But those few shots where everything aligns are money.
